I don't have the energy to play judge in this conflict, but the scantily-clad chicks in their lettuce leaves both tittilate me and annoy me.

“Last year PETA’s income exceeded $29 million,” said Center for Consumer Freedom Director of Research David Martosko, “but PETA kills over 80 percent of the flesh-and-blood creatures it takes in -- including puppies, kittens, and other adoptable animals. Most of PETA’s money pays for ridiculous protests like today’s deceptive display. You simply can’t catch bird flu by eating chicken. PETA should use its millions to hire more biologists and fewer naked college interns.”

"Lefty loony" Annie Leonard tells us the "Story of Stuff"...

I say "left loony" tongue in cheek. It is an excellent presentation, but is extremely biased and gets very hyperbolic at times, with such gems as "it's the government's job to watch out for us...to take care of us", factories are where we "mix toxic chemicals with natural resources to produce toxic goods", distribution means "sell all of the toxic contaminated junk as soon as possible", etc.

As Rick says, "if you're not enraged, you're not paying attention"...

I'm disappointed, because she has some great insights into the concepts of planned and perceived obsolesence, and externalities.

In all, it's interesting to see another viewpoint...you watch and decide for yourself.
